BBMB Apprentice Recruitment 2026: The Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) has released two recruitment notifications for the engagement of 65 Apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for the training session 2026-27. These vacancies include ITI Trade Apprentices, Diploma Apprentices and Graduate Apprentices at Nangal (Punjab) and Dhulkote (Ambala, Haryana).
As per Advertisement No. 01/2026, BBMB has announced 58 apprenticeship vacancies at Canal Power House Circle, BBMB (P.W.), Nangal. Additionally, 7 Lineman Apprentice vacancies have been announced at the Construction Division, BBMB, Dhulkote (Ambala City).

BBMB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- ITI Apprentice: Candidates must have passed Class 10th with at least 40% marks and possess an ITI certificate from NCVT/SCVT in the relevant trade.
- Diploma Apprentice: Candidates must hold a Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) with at least 40% marks.
- Graduate Apprentice: Candidates must possess a relevant four-year Engineering Degree (B.E./B.Tech) or BA, B.Com or B.Sc degree with at least 40% marks, as applicable to the advertised post.
Age Limit
The age eligibility for BBMB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and applicable apprenticeship rules. BBMB Apprentice Selection Process 2026
The selection of candidates will be based on merit. There will be no written examination for BBMB Apprentice Recruitment 2026.
The selection process includes the following stages:

Preference for Local Candidates
As per the recruitment information, 25% of seats in each trade will receive first preference for candidates possessing a valid residence certificate from the districts where the concerned project or power station is located. Preference will then be given to candidates from the respective state, followed by open merit, subject to the applicable notification provisions.
BBMB Apprentice Training Duration
