Bilaspur Tops PM Matru Vandana Yojana Registration Drive – Achieves 249% Registration, Ranks First in North India

• Under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh secured the first position in Himachal Pradesh as well as in North India during the special beneficiary registration campaign held from 15th July to 15th August 2025.
• The district achieved 249% registration, ranking 26th among 766 districts at the national level.
• Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar credited the success to the joint efforts of the district administration, Women & Child Development Department, Anganwadi workers, supervisors, and project officers.
• The campaign focused on identifying and registering eligible pregnant and lactating women.
• In state ranking, Bilaspur stood first, followed by districts like Sirmaur, Kullu, Chamba, Kangra, Hamirpur, Una, Mandi, Solan, Kinnaur, Shimla, and Lahaul-Spiti.

पीएम मातृ वंदना योजना पंजीकरण अभियान में बिलासपुर अव्वल – 249% पंजीकरण, उत्तर भारत में पहला स्थान

• प्रधानमंत्री मातृ वंदना योजना (PMMVY) के अंतर्गत बिलासपुर जिला ने 249 प्रतिशत पंजीकरण कर हिमाचल प्रदेश व उत्तर भारत में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया। यह उपलब्धि 15 जुलाई से 15 अगस्त 2025 तक चले विशेष पंजीकरण अभियान में हासिल हुई।
• राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर बिलासपुर ने 766 जिलों में 26वां स्थान प्राप्त किया।
• उपायुक्त राहुल कुमार ने इस सफलता का श्रेय जिला प्रशासन, महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग, आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता, सहायिकाओं व अधिकारियों की मेहनत को दिया। अभियान के दौरान पात्र गर्भवती व धात्री महिलाओं की पहचान कर उन्हें योजना से जोड़ा गया।
• प्रदेश स्तरीय रैंकिंग में बिलासपुर पहले स्थान पर रहा, जबकि सिरमौर, कुल्लू, चंबा, कांगड़ा, हमीरपुर, ऊना, मंडी, सोलन, किन्नौर, शिमला व लाहौल-स्पीति अन्य स्थानों पर रहे।
