DAV Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility will be as per applicable DAVCMC, State and CBSE norms. The notification specifically mentions that B.Ed. and TET are mandatory for the applicable teaching posts.

DAV Recruitment 2026 Application Process
The application and payment process is divided into three important steps.
Step 1 – Form Ready for Verification
Eligible candidates must log in and fill the online CBT form by 08 October 2026. This is a partial submission and will be subject to verification of testimonials.
Step 2 – Verification and Approval for Payment
Candidates must take a printout of the application form and carry it along with their testimonials to the nearest designated DAV School for verification.
The verification must be completed before 16 October 2026. This step is mandatory for final submission and activation of the payment portal.
Step 3 – CBT Fee Payment
After successful verification and approval, candidates must submit the online CBT examination fee within 7 days by logging in to the official DAV Recruitment website.
DAV-CBT December 2026
The DAV-CBT (Computer Based Test) will be conducted for eligible candidates at different DAV Schools in December 2026.
Information related to examination dates, important timelines, examination centres, admit cards, examination details and results will be updated on the official DAV Recruitment website from time to time.
What Happens After DAV-CBT?
Candidates who qualify in the DAV-CBT will be issued a Provisional Eligibility Card (P.E.C.).
Qualified P.E.C. candidates can apply at any D.A.V. School across the country for the Demo-Interview, which is the final stage of the recruitment process. The final selection will be made on the basis of the Demo-Interview conducted by the respective school.
