Himachal Pradesh Jal Shakti Vibhag Jhandutta Division, District Bilaspur, has released an Engagement Notice 2026 for the recruitment of 10 posts of Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter and Multipurpose Worker. Bona-fide Himachali candidates are invited to submit applications in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of relevant documents.

Educational Qualification
1. Para Pump Operator
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) and possess a certificate in any of the following trades:
- Electrician
- Wireman
- Diesel Mechanic
- Pump Mechanic
- Motor Mechanic
- Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic
The certificate must be from a recognised ITI/Institute. Alternatively, candidates may have Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the above-mentioned trades under the Government Skill Development Scheme.
2. Para Fitter
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) along with an ITI certificate in the trade of Fitter/Plumber from a recognised ITI/Institute.
Alternatively, Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the above-mentioned trades under the Government Skill Development Scheme is also accepted.
3. Multipurpose Worker
Candidates must have passed Middle Standard (8th) or its equivalent from a school duly recognised by the State Government.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 45 years as on 31 October 2026.
Experience Requirements
Experience in the relevant field of IPH/HP PWD/CPWD/PSUs or an outsourcing agency providing services in HP Jal Shakti Vibhag will be considered.
The experience certificate, if any, must be issued by the competent authority of the concerned department or duly countersigned by the concerned Executive Engineer in the case of an outsourcing agency.
Relevant experience for different posts:- Para Pump Operator: Operation and maintenance of pumping machinery and allied electrical installations of Rural Water Supply Schemes/Irrigation Schemes.
- Para Fitter: Maintenance of village piped water supply infrastructure or the distribution system of Rural Water Supply/Irrigation Schemes.
Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted after scrutiny of their applications. Separate call letters will be issued to the shortlisted candidates for appearing in the following tests:
- Skill Test
- Physical Test
No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the skill test and physical test.
