Age Limit:-The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 35 years as on the last date of application.

Qualification:-

The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi worker and Anganwadi assistant has been fixed as 12th pass.

Terms & Conditions:-

• The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi worker, Mini Anganwadi worker and Anganwadi assistant has been fixed as 12th pass.
• The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 35 years till the last date of application.
• candidate should be a normal resident of the beneficiary area (feeder area) of the concerned Anganwadi center.
• the annual income of the applicant’s family should not be more than 50 thousand, whose certificate should be certified/copy signed by Naib Tehsildar / Tehsildar / Executive Magistrate Officer.
• The applicant should be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh, whose certificate has been issued by the concerned officer.

Interview process

• Selection will be based on merit out of a total of 25 marks.
• For Anganwadi worker, Mini Anganwadi worker and Anganwadi assistant, a maximum of 10 marks will be given for educational qualification based on the maximum pass marks of 10+2, in which the percentage of marks in 10+2 will be on a proportional basis subject to a maximum of 7 marks.
• Candidates having higher educational qualification will be given 3 additional marks, in which 2 marks have been kept for graduation and 1 mark for post graduation and above.
• A maximum of 3 marks will be given for work experience, in which Anganwadi worker/Anganwadi assistant/Bal Sevika/Kindergarten teacher/Nursery teacher/Sewing teacher/Children’s foster care worker working in the concerned Panchayat, who have worked for 10 months, will be given one mark for each year of experience, which will be subject to a maximum of 3 marks.
• 2 marks will be given to Divyang women with 40 percent and above disability.
• 2 marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates, 3 marks for State Home residents, Balika Ashram residents, orphans, widows, destitute, divorcees, married women whose husbands are not traceable for the last 7 years, women deserted by their husbands and those living with their parents.
• 2 marks for unmarried girl from families with two daughters who have no sons or 2 marks for married women with two daughters who have no sons.
• 3 marks will be given for personal interview.

Follow these steps to apply for the HP Samot Block Anganwadi Workers and Assistants Vacancy Recruitment 2025.

• Interested candidates can submit their application on plain paper along with their complete details and photocopies of all the necessary documents and certificates at the BMO Office, Samot by 5 pm on 17 November 2025 I.
• Applicants will not be sent separate call letters for the interview. Graduate candidates will get 2 marks in the interview and one additional mark for postgraduate or higher qualification. A woman who has worked as Anganwadi Sahayika, Bal Sevika, Balwadi Teacher, Nursery Teacher, Shishu Palak or Sewing Teacher can also get a maximum of three marks. SC, ST, families with only two girls, candidates with 40 percent or more disability will also get a maximum of two marks each. However, the applicant must have the necessary documents or certificates related to these. Three marks have been kept for the interview.
• In case of disagreement regarding the appointment, the candidate can appeal in the court of Deputy Commissioner Hamirpur within 45 days. In case of disagreement with the decision of the Deputy Commissioner, the candidate can appeal to the Director of the Women and Child Development Department.
