HPSSC JBT Post Code 1075 Exam Syllabus

Objective type screening test consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Questions from the subject(s)/field(s) concerned, General English of 10+2 standard and Hindi of Matric standard, General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Everyday Science, Social Science, Current affairs & Logic.

Qualification

 i) 10+2 with 50% marks or Senior Secondary with 50% marks from a recognized Board of School Education and 2 years Junior Basic (JBT) Teacher‟s course/Diploma in Elementary Education(D.EI.Ed.) from an Institute affiliated to HP Board of School Education(HPBOSE). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) (by whatever name known). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 % marks and 2 years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure ) Regualtions,2002. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and 2 years Diploma in Education(Special Education). OR Graduation and two years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT)/ Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) (by whatever name known). And 

ii) Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Class I-V, to be conducted by an authority designated by the HP State Government. A candidate shall be eligible for appointment to Class-III post(s), if, he/she has passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.

 Note: 1) The selection process shall be carried out in accordance with R&P Rules r/w NCTE notification dated 28.06.2018 which will be further subject to the orders of the Hon’ble High Court in Review Petition No. 11/2022 a/w CWP Nos. 1359, 1541 of 2022, Review Petition No. 10/2022 a/w CMP No. 8294 of 2022 and also subject to final order that is to be passed in SLP No. 20743 of 2021 and connected matters pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court as intimated by the Department of Elementary Education. 

2) Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and PH categories
