Applications are invited from citizens of India for filling up the following position in a sponsored project from Aeronautics R&D Board (IITM/DRDO/SZ/376), DRDO, Government of India undertaken in the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, IIT Mandi. The position is purely temporary and is initially offered for six months and can be extended based further on the performance of the candidate. The essential qualifications and experience are listed below.

Project Title :-A rapid method to manufacture carbon nanotubes on recycled carbon fibers to enhance mechanical performance composites

Number of Posts :-01 (one)

Position :-Project Associate (JRF)/ Project Engineer

Salary:- ₹ 18,000 to ₹ 31,000/- per month (consolidated) depending on qualification

Minimum Qualification and Experience

B.Tech. or B.E. in Mechanical/Production Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or 6 CGPA and/or M.Tech. or M.E. in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering or related areas with minimum of 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA Job Profile Engineer surfaces of carbon fibers and fabricate carbon fiber reinforced composites using engineered fibers.
Preferable Experience Candidate should be good at experimental work, analysis, interpretation of data and appreciable scientific writing skills.
