Details:-

1.Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production)

Qualification:-3 years Diploma in Chemical / Refinery & Petrochemical Engg. or B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) from a recognized Institute/ University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.

Experience:-Minimum one year of post qualification experience in operation (rotating shift) of Pump House, Fired Heater, Compressor, Distillation Column, Reactor, Heat exchanger etc. in a Petroleum Refinery/ Petrochemicals/ Fertilizer/ Heavy Chemical/ Gas Processing Industry


2.Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production)

Qualification:-3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engg. from recognized Institute/University & Boiler Competency Certificate (Ist Class or IInd Class) Provided that: in case of non-availability of sufficient number of candidates meeting the prescribed Parameters,candidates possessing the following qualification may also be considered:

 1. Matric with ITI (Fitter) with Boiler Competency Certificate (Ist Class or IInd Class) 

2. B Sc. (PCM) with an Apprenticeship Training in Boiler Trade. 

3. 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engg. from recognized Institute/University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions. Subject to the condition below: Candidate selected under Category (2) & (3) above and posted in Boiler Operations shall undertake to acquire Boiler Competency Certificate (IInd Class) within four years of joining the services of the Corporation.

Experience:-

  • For candidates possessing Diploma/ Matric with ITI (Fitter) & holding Boiler Competency Certificate or B.Sc. with Boiler Apprenticeship, no further experience shall be require
  •   For candidates possessing the Diploma:minimum one year post qualification experience in operation of Industrial Boiler/ HRSG/Thermal Power Station (DM plant/RO plant/Air compressors/ Steam Turbines/ Gas turbines cooling tower/RO Plant/ Air Compressor in Petroleum Refinery/ Petrochemicals/ Heavy Chemical/ Fertilizers/ Power Plants/ large industrial establishment.

3.Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical)/ Junior Technical Assistant – IV &Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&UO&M)

Qualification:-

  • for Guwahati, Gujarat, Mathura, Digboi and Bongaigaon Refinery:- 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute/ University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved/identified for PwBD positions.
  •  For Barauni, Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex and Paradip Refinery :-3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute/ University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.
4.Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical)/ Junior Technical Assistant – IV

Qualification:-3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized Institute/ University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved/ identified for PwBD positions or Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade with Pass class

5.Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation)/ Junior Technical Assistant – IV

Qualification:-3 years Diploma in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognized Institute/ University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidatesagainst reserved/identified for PwBD positions.

6.Junior Quality Control Analyst-IV

Qualification:-B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved/identified for PwBD positions.


7.Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety)

Qualification:-Matric plus Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC-Nagpur or Equivalent (Regular Course) from any other recognized institute, with Heavy Vehicle Driving License.


8.Junior Material Assistant – IV/ Junior Technical Assistant – IV

Qualification:-3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engg. from recognized Institute/University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved/identified for PwBD positions

9.Junior Nursing Assistant 

Qualification:-4 years B.Sc. (Nursing) or 3 years Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery or Gynaecology & Obstetrics from recognized Institute/University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.

Important Instructions: 
1. A candidate is allowed to apply for only one post. In case of receipt of more than one application for more than one post, all the applications will be rejected.
 2. Large Industrial Establishment would mean industrial/manufacturing Units whose investment in plant & machineries exceed Rs. 10 crores and which has been in operation. 
  •  Candidates shall be required to attach a copy of the relevant page of the last published Balance sheet of the establishment with the physical application under self-certification by the candidate. 
  •  Candidates employed, directly or by or through any agency (including a contractor) by a Large Industrial Establishment shall also be eligible to apply, provided they furnish copy of the work order issued to the agency/contractor along with the page of the balance sheet. 

3. Candidates who are registered with Local Employment Exchange(s)/ District Sainik Resettlement Board/ Special Employment Exchange and meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria, whose names are sponsored to concerned Refinery Unit against this notification, are advised to apply Online, failing which their candidature will not be considered



Age limit/ Relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(NCL) /PwBD/ ExSM: 

1. Certificate issued by a Board of Secondary Education for passing Matriculation/Higher Secondary shall be the only acceptable document in support of proof of age. 
2. Minimum 18 years and Maximum age shall be 26 years for General candidates as on 30-09-2021.
 3. Relaxation in age upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates considered against reserved positions will be allowed.
 4. PwBD candidates will be allowed age-relaxation upto 10 years (upto 15 years for SC/ST and upto 13 years for OBC (NCL) candidates), if considered against reserved positions
. 5. Relaxation to Ex-servicemen will be allowed as per Govt. Guidelines i.e in case of ExSM, Period of actual military service will be deducted from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit by more than three years, he shall be considered to be fulfilling the age criteria. 
6. PwBD / ExSM candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (NCL) categories shall be eligible for grant of cumulative age relaxation under the categories.
 7. Age relaxation of a period equal to minimum years of experience notified against a post shall be allowed. 
8. Period of Apprenticeship training {under The Apprentices Act 1961/1973 (as amended)}, in an industry covered under the experience criteria notified in this advt. relevant to a post will be considered for relaxation in age. 
9. Further, Period of Apprenticeship training in an industry covered under the experience criteria notified in this advt. relevant to a post may be considered as experience. However, in such cases, relaxation towards age shall not be available. 
10. Maximum relaxation of one year in age will be given to candidates possessing Boiler Competency Certificate & being considered for the post code 202


How to Apply: On-Line Application 
1. Before applying on-line, a candidate must have an active email ID and a mobile phone number which must remain valid for at-least twelve month period for future communication (including issue of call letters).
 2. The candidate should have the relevant documents/certificates pertaining to age, qualification, caste, experience, Disability Certificate (where applicable), scanned copy of colour photograph and signature in jpg format (size not exceeding 50 KB) ready before applying online. The photo and signature in digital form will be required to be uploaded. 
3. Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria for a post, may visit the website www.iocl.com Go to ‘What’s New’ > Go to Requirement of Experienced Non-Executive Personnel 2021 in IOCL, Refineries Division> Click on “Detailed advertisement” (to refer to the Advertisement) > Click on “Click here to Apply Online” ( to fill online application form) . The link to online application Page 9 of 10 will remain open from 21-09-2021 (10:00 Hrs) to 12-10-2021(17:00 Hrs). Applications submitted through on-line mode will ONLY be accepted. All future communication with candidate will take place only through website/ email/ SMS. 
4. The candidate must ascertain the correctness of each information/details before filling in the ‘Online Application Form’ and its final submission. The candidate shall be wholly/exclusively responsible for the information/details so filled/provided in his online Application Form.
 5. After successful submission of online Application, the candidates are required to send the following documents to the concerned authority at the Refinery applied for (as mentioned in the table at Clause No. N (7) below) by Ordinary Post so as to reach by 23-10-2021

a) Print out of on-line application form, duly signed 
b) a Color photograph under self-attestation 
c) Self attested copies of the following documents: 
i. Matriculation/Higher Secondary certificate issued by Board of Secondary Education. 
ii. Marksheet of Class XII by the concerned education Board / Semester-wise or year-wise mark sheets of ITI (Fitter) issued by NCVT or SCVT/Sub Officer’s Course / Graduation/Diploma in Engineering issued by University/ Institute ( as applicable) 
iii. Certificate of Class XII Pass by the concerned education Board /Final ITI (Fitter) issued by NCVT or SCVT/ Sub Officer’s Course/ Graduation/Diploma in Engineering Final/ Provisional Pass Certificate issued by respective University/Institute ( as applicable)
 iv. Conversion certificate from CGPA/OGPA/Letter Grade to percentage of marks from concerned University/Institute (if applicable) 
v. SC/ST/ Disability Certificate / OBC (NCL) Certificate alongwith “Declaration” / EWS-Income & Asset Certificate/ “DECLARATION for ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTIONS Candidates”. Certificate must be in the prescribed format (available on website www.iocl.com and www.iocrefrecruit.in ) and issued by the Competent Authority.
 vi. Experience Certificate or Copy of Offer Letter, Joining Letter, Payslips, Increment Letter, relieving letter etc. proving the continuance of experience for the period being claimed. The documents submitted in support of Experience must clearly establish the period of experience as well as the nature of relevant prescribed experience being claimed against the post applied for. 
vii. For experiences being claimed under Large Industrial Establishment, wherever prescribed, copy of the relevant page of the last published Balance sheet of the establishment and copy of the work order issued to the agency/contractor along with the page of the balance sheet to be furnished where the candidate is employed, directly or by or through any agency (including a contractor) by a Large Industrial Establishment. 
viii. Proof of Qualification (equivalence) / Self Declaration of same area of work experience / Service Certificate/ Discharge Certificate in case of Ex-Servicemen.
 ix. Duly completed Proforma of Certificate for employed Officials – to be submitted by candidates belonging to Ex-Servicemen, as applicable {Please refer to Clause No. E (8)} 
x. Duly completed Form of Undertaking to be given by Candidates Applying for Civil Posts under Ex Servicemen Category- to be submitted by candidates belonging to Ex-Servicemen, as applicable {Please refer to Clause No. E (9)} 
xi. Photo Identity Proof ( Aadhar Card/Driving License/ Voter Id/ PAN Card/ Passport)
