Himachal Pradesh Jal Shakti Vibhag Recruitment 2026: Jal Shakti Vibhag, Karsog, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh has invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter and Multipurpose Workers on honorarium basis. A total of 10 vacancies are available under Jal Shakti Division Karsog.

Educational Qualification
1. Para Pump Operator
- Candidate should have passed Matriculation (10th).
- Candidate should possess an ITI Certificate in the trade of Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Pump Operation-cum-Mechanic or Pump Operation & Maintenance from a recognized ITI.
- Alternatively, candidates having Matriculation with a certificate in the above-mentioned trade under the Skill Development Scheme of the Government are eligible.
2. Para Fitter
- Candidate should have passed Matriculation (10th).
- Candidate should possess an ITI Certificate in the trade of Fitter/Plumber from a recognized ITI/Institute.
- Alternatively, Matriculation with a certificate in the above-mentioned trade under the Government Skill Development Scheme is acceptable.
3. Multipurpose Worker
- Candidate should have passed Middle (8th) or above from a school duly recognized by the State Government.
Age Limit
The minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum age is 45 years.
Salary / Honorarium
- Para Pump Operator: ₹7,100/- per month
- Para Fitter: ₹7,100/- per month
- Multipurpose Worker: ₹6,000/- per month

For Multipurpose Worker

Experience Requirements
Experience in the relevant field of IPH/HPWSD/CPWD/PSUs or an outsourcing agency providing services in Himachal Pradesh Jal Shakti Vibhag will be considered. For relevant experience, a certificate issued by the concerned Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Vibhag is required.
For Para Pump Operator, relevant experience includes operation and maintenance of pumping machinery and allied electrical installations of rural water supply schemes/irrigation schemes. For Para Fitter, experience in maintaining village piped water supply infrastructure or distribution systems of rural water supply/irrigation schemes will be considered.
Important Instructions
- Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format.
- Incomplete or unsigned application forms will be rejected.
- Applications received after the prescribed last date will not be accepted.
- Original certificates/testimonials will be verified at the time of the physical test/skill test.
- Shortlisting for the skill test/physical test will be based on merit and the documents submitted by candidates.
- The department may increase or decrease the number of vacancies and alter reservation as per directions of the Government/higher office without prior notice.
- Candidates who passed Middle Standard examination under the grading system must submit a certificate showing the detailed marks sheet or percentage of marks obtained. Grading certificates will not be considered.
- The date of the physical test/skill test for eligible candidates will be intimated separately.
