3. Multipurpose Worker

Candidates should have passed Middle (8th) standard and possess an equivalent qualification from a school duly recognized by the State Government.

• Ability to dismantle and replace damaged or worn-out pump parts.
• Knowledge of pump lubrication and cooling systems.
• Ability to operate regulating valves and control mechanisms of pumping systems.

For Para Fitter

• Ability to repair water supply pipelines and arrest leakage.
• Knowledge of pipe fittings, sizes, operation and maintenance.
• Ability to cut pipe threads using ratchet and die sets.
• Knowledge of basic operation involved in village water supply infrastructure.
• Knowledge of tools used for pipe fitting and their operation.
• Behavioural skills for handling grievances, complaints and conflict resolution.

Physical Test

According to the notice, candidates should be capable of carrying tools and pipes in hilly areas. The physical test requirements are specified in the detailed engagement notice.
