Regional Horticultural Research and Training Station Mashobra(Shimla) SRF Recruitment 2023:-Walk-in-interview will be held for filling up the one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) purely temporary basis and co-terminus with the project entitled “Establishment of field gene bank of temperate fruits” (HGI-153-51) at the Regional Horticultural Research & Training Station, Mashobra (Shimla) on 20.09.2023 at 11:00 AM. The candidates should fill in the prescribed application form and attend the walk-in-interview in the office of Associate Director (R&E), RHR&TS, Mashobra, Shimla on dated 20.09.2023. The processing fee is Rs. 450/- for General category candidates & Rs. 110/- for reserved category candidates (for reserve category candidates enclose self-attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate). Application form will be considered valid only, if it is accompanied with prescribed processing fee in the shape of IPO/Bank draft payable to State Bank of India/ UCO bank, Nauni, Solan-173230 (HP), which should be prepared in the name of the Comptroller, Dr Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS/ OTHER CONDITIONS: .

The applicant must be a citizen of India, The upper age limit for the above temporary post is under 35 years for men and 40 years for women. The upper age limit is relaxable for reserve category candidates as per Govt. of India norms. The candidates are required to appear for Walk-in- interview with their Resume on prescribed application form (must include Mobile No and Email Address) enclosing required documents (from matriculation onwards) regarding essential/desirable qualification, thesis and other relevant certificates. The candidates having marks issued in the form of CGPA/OGPA should attach approved conversion table/formula alongwith the application. The appointment on this post will be made at fixed salary purely on temporary basis on “co-terminus” with the project concerned or availability of funds, whichever is earlier. The candidate applying for this post shall have no claim for their regularization against the said post. The selected candidate who wishes to tender his/her resignation shall be required to service one months notice prior to resignation or to deposit one month salary. The processing fee once paid will not be refunded. The University reserves the right not to fill up the posts, without assigning any reason. The University will not accept any arguments or plea such as breakdown, mail, illness etc. for non-attendance for the interview. . The candidates must have all the original testimonials at the time of interview and submit one set of the attested copies at the time of interview. . Applicants already working in any project should send their applications through their PI/HoD/Organization. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The candidate selected for appointment to the above post shall have to execute a service contract agreement on stamp paper at the time of joining.
