SJVN awarded Second Prize in Swachhta Pakhwada Awards 2025

SJVN has been honored with the Second Prize in the prestigious Swachhta Pakhwada Awards 2025 by the Ministry of Power, Government of India. The award was presented by Shri Pankaj Agrawal, Secretary, Ministry of Power, to Shri Bhupender Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director of SJVN, in New Delhi.
SJVN was recognized for its outstanding performance during the Swachhta Pakhwada 2025, organized from 16th to 31st May, through impactful initiatives like cleanliness drives, plantation campaigns, menstrual hygiene awareness, sustainable practices promotion, river cleaning, rallies, expert talks, and school competitions.
While PGCIL secured the First Prize and NHPC won the Third Prize, SJVN has so far won four First Prizes (including three consecutively) and two Second Prizes, showcasing consistent excellence.

एसजेवीएन को भारत सरकार के विद्युत मंत्रालय द्वारा आयोजित स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा पुरस्कार 2025 में द्वितीय पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। यह पुरस्कार नई दिल्ली में विद्युत सचिव श्री पंकज अग्रवाल द्वारा एसजेवीएन के अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक श्री भूपेन्द्र गुप्ता को प्रदान किया गया।
16 से 31 मई तक आयोजित स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा 2025 के दौरान एसजेवीएन ने स्वच्छता अभियान, वृक्षारोपण, मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता जागरूकता, अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन, एकल-उपयोग प्लास्टिक निषेध, नदी सफाई, रैलियाँ, नुक्कड़ नाटक और स्कूल प्रतियोगिताओं जैसी गतिविधियाँ आयोजित कर उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन किया।
जहाँ पीजीसीआईएल ने प्रथम पुरस्कार और एनएचपीसी ने तृतीय पुरस्कार जीता, वहीं एसजेवीएन ने अब तक चार प्रथम और दो द्वितीय पुरस्कार जीतकर लगातार अपनी उत्कृष्टता का प्रदर्शन किया है।
