The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the Tentative SSC Examination Calendar 2026–27, providing crucial information about upcoming SSC recruitment exams, including advertisement dates, application closing dates, and expected months of examination. This calendar is extremely important for candidates preparing for SSC exams such as CGL, CHSL, JE, Selection Post, Stenographer, MTS, Delhi Police SI, and Constable (GD).

As per the SSC Exam Calendar 2026–27, the JSA/LDC and SSA/UDC Limited Departmental Competitive Examinations (LDCE) are scheduled to be advertised on 16 March 2026, with examinations expected in May 2026. The ASO Grade LDCE 2025 will follow a similar timeline. The much-awaited SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026 is expected to be advertised in March 2026, with exams likely to be conducted between May and June 2026.

The SSC Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination 2026 will also be notified in March 2026, while the Selection Post Phase-XIV Examination 2026 is expected during May to July 2026. For 10+2 level aspirants, the SSC CHSL Examination 2026 is likely to be advertised in April 2026, with examinations scheduled from July to September 2026.

Candidates aiming for stenography posts should note that the SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2026 will be notified in April 2026, and exams are expected in August–September 2026. The SSC Hindi Translators Examination 2026 will also follow the same timeline. For non-technical posts, the SSC MTS & Havaldar Examination 2026 is expected to be advertised in June 2026, with exams likely between September and November 2026.

The SSC Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police & CAPFs Examination 2026 is expected to be advertised in May 2026, while the highly competitive SSC Constable (GD) Examination 2027 is tentatively scheduled for January to March 2027, with advertisement expected in September 2026.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official SSC website and start their preparation well in advance according to the exam calendar. Proper planning based on the SSC Exam Calendar 2026–27 can significantly improve preparation strategy and success rate in competitive examinations.
